Ester Akothee, popularly known as Akothee is a Kenyan singer and an entrepreneur. She is very talented and well-skilled in singing the afro-beat songs, accompanied by sultry dancing steps. Akothee had been in a collabo with Diamond and Flavour; hence she is famous both locally and internationally.
- Akothee was born on the 8th of April, 1980, in Kisumu County, Kenya. She is apparently 41 years as of 2020, and she, therefore, celebrates her happy birthday with her family, friends, and colleagues on the 8th of April every year.
- Akothee’s father is called Joshua Owino Kokeyo, who was a former District Officer. Her mother is known as Hon. She and Monica Yunita Kokeyo was serving as the seating Migori MCA. Akothee was the firstborn of her parents, and she spent her childhood in Migori.
- She started her secondary education in Nyabisawa Girls Secondary School, but later on, she dropped while in form two. She completed her education at Gachie Mixed Secondary School in 2004when she was 21years, and she managed to get a mean grade of C+. - She got married to her first husband at the age of 14 years, and she had three children in that marriage. She used to live with her mother-in-law while her husband was still studying, but after completing studies, she went to Nairobi, where she lived happily with her husband. After Akothee had three children, her husband left her and married another woman. She decided to move to Mombasa with her children to stay with her brother.
- In Mombasa, she worked as a taxi driver, getting little income to sustain herself and her children. There was a time she carried a man from Zurich, Switzerland, who became her boyfriend and took her to his home place. The two got married, and Akothee conceived her fourth child with him, but later on, she broke up with him and moved to Kenya.
- Akothee is a single woman having five children; 3 daughters and two sons. Her daughters are Vesha Shalian Okello, Celine Dion Okello, and Prudence Apundo from her first marriage. In her second and third marriages, she conceived two sons, namely Oyo and Ojwang’.

She has also received a nomination for the best 2018 AFRIMMA Best Female Artist Award. On one of her birthdays, Akothee received a gift of a brand-new Prado from the French man, who is also the father of her last-born child, but currently, the two are now separated.
