DEVALE ELLIS BIOGRAPHY
Devale is a former NFL player and an American actor. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 2, 1984. He began acting after taking football as a career playing in the Detroit Lions. He is known for acting in the series Zatima and Sistas. With his wife Khadeen Ellis they have a podcast, a relationship book (We Over Me) and a youtube channel.
Early Life
He has siblings, a brother and a sister (Tori and Brian). His parents being Troy and Karen Ellis. He went to James Madison High School in Brooklyn, New York. He played basketball and football while in high school and was among top ten for touchdown by wide receiver while he was in his senior year in high school.
He joined Hofstra University, where he continued his football journey. He then joined the NFL (Detroit Lions) and left in 2010 due to sustaining injuries.
Personal Life
Devale has 4 sons with his wife Khadeen Ellis. They have several achievements with his wife such as: they have co-authored in writting the relationship book “We Over Me”, they have a podcast (Dead Ass with Khadeen & Devale) which is an award winning podcast and a YouTube channel (Sitcom with the Ellises). He is also involved in community service.
Career
He began his acting career in 2010. He began it by being guest in films such as Power.He began his major role in 2019 in the series Sistas as Zac Taylor. He has a recurring role in Zatima and Bigger. Also he has been featured in several other films including Blacklist, The Equalizer and Meet Me Next Christmas.
