William James Gaither, popularly known as Bill Gaither, is an American singer and song composer of the southern gospel and also Christian music. He was born on the 28th of March, 1936, in Alexandria, Indiana, in the United States of America. He is known to sing and compose numerous songs with his wife, Gloria. Generally, the two have composed 600 songs, and by 2005, the number had risen to 700.
