Flavour Education

Flavour acquired his primary education at Robinson Primary School in Uwan, Enugu in Nigeria, where he earned his First School Leaving Certificate. He later attended Uwkunanaw Boys Secondary School in Achara Layout, Enugu in Nigeria, thereby making his West Africa Senior School Certificate. He later graduated from the College of the Immaculate Conception {CIC).

Flavor Career

Flavour’s musical career started at a tender age. At the age of 13 years, he was a drummer in his church choir in Enugu. After expanding his music talent, he was introduced to Christ I. Order, the CEO of Soundcity Communications, by his pastor.

In 1996, Flavour got a scholarship to study music at Soundcity Communication, where he became a professional drummer. In 1999, Flavour started playing keyboard and singing as a backup singer for other musicians in Soundcity. In 2002, he entered the Nigerian Music Industry serving as a drummer and pianist for a local Enugu band. He also played at City Center in Enugu, where he expanded his career more.

In 2005, Flavour released his first hit album, N’Abania, and Obaino Music produced the album. It also featured the famous Nigerian rapper called Nigga Raw. In 2010, he released another album, Uplifted, which featured famous musicians such as Tiwa Savage. At Enugu, Flavour was inspired by a musician like Dekumzy, Isi Charles, and Nnachie. He, therefore, launched his record label 2nite Entertainment some years later.

In 2012, Flavour released his third album called Blessed, which was produced under his record label, 3nite Entertainment, in collaboration with iROCKING LTE. In 2014, he released another album, Thankful, which featured Chidinma, Wande Coal, and other Nigerian musicians. In 2017, Ijele-The Traveler was released, and the album had 17 tracks and featured Nigerian musicians and a blind Liberian fan Semah.

In 2018, Flavour released the song, Crazy Love, which featured Yemi Alande.  During the same year, he featured Umu Obiligbo in the song Awele. In 2020, Flavour released his sixth music album, Flavour of Africa, which had 16 tracks and featured Nigerian musicians like Fall Ipupa, Tekno, Odumeje, Phyno, and others.

In his career as a singer, Flavour has worked with many African musicians like Tiwa, Savage, Kcee, Phyno, Chidinma, P-Square, Fally Ipupa, Yemi Alade, Zoro Masterkraft, Mr. raw, and Tekno. Flavour won several awards like Most Gifted Afro Pop at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, Indigenous Artist of the Year at the MTV Awards, and Collabo of the Year.
