Rihana is a Barbadian R&B singer, born in St.Michael parish in February 20 1988.In the early 21st century is when she became a worldwide star.She is also known for her beauty, fashion lines, voice and her fashionable appearance.Early life
Early Life
Her Guyanese mother and Barbadian father raised her in Barbados.She enjoyed singing.She enjoyed listening to R&B, American hiphop and Carribean(reggae) music as well while she was young.In high school she won talent show with Mariah Careys song.In 2004 she caught the attention an American producer, Evan Rogers.She had a girl group with two friends about the same time.Evan Rogers helped her record a demo. Due to the demo, Jay-Z(headed the Def Jam record label back then) auditioned her and signed the budding vocalist.She then began to use the name Rihanna for her professional career.
Music career
She captured international audience due to her dancehall single”Pon de Replay”.Music of the Sun(2005) recording was due to the dancehall single success.In 2006 she followed the album A Girl Like Me, featuring “S.O.S.”Her song “Tainted Love,” became her top first Billboard singles chart.
Assist of high profile collaborators as Justin Timberlake and Timbaaland, she sought to transform her youthful image where she recorded a collection of R&B which showcased an indeprndent woman.Rihanna earned a Grammy Award due to lead single “Umbrella”,featuring rap from Jay-Z became the year’s biggest hit.It ended up her selling seven million copies.

Chris Brown, her boyfriend, was convicted of assault after their separation as he beat Rihanna which widely covered gossip blogs and news(in 2009).She then recorded an album which was rated and she was the one who cowrote, it was talking about revenge.She returned due to dance friendly Loud in 2010.She was the youngestartist to ever reach that milestone at the age of 23 which was due to her album “S&M”which was her 10th billboard hit.Her song “Love the Way You Lie”(2010) was talking about depiction of an abusive relationship.Rihanna has done prominent collaborations with hip-hop artists such as Eminem.
The album Talk That Talk(2011) led to the production international hits:We Found Love and Unapologetic(2012), this lead to release of Diamonds. The release rekindled their relationship with Chris Brown for a while.In 2016 she released her 8th album.In 2022 she cowrote and performed”Lift Me Up” for the Black Panther:Wakanda Forever, the film.

She launched her own line(Fenty Beauty) in 2017, this is after in 2010s collaborating on several cosmetics collections.The brand offered 40 different shades of foundations.In 2018 she launced Savage-Fenty, a lingerie and loungewear clothingline.Her patnering with LVMH Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton was announced in 2019, this is to create the fashionline Fenty.later that year first collection of Fenty’s was released.She was the first woman of color to head fashion house at LVMH, was the largest luxury-products company.In 2021 it was announced that Fenty was being paused”pending better conditions.”The line has there struggled.
Personal life
Hitting the media is her personal life.In 2009 her domestic violence incident with Chris Brown hit gossip blogs.Drake,a Canadian rapper, later dated her.Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky confirmed their relationship in 2021 which in the following year they welcomed a babyboy.At the Super Bowl halftime show, in 2023, she cconfirmed she was pregnant again with a visible bump of baby.Their second son was then born in August that year.Rihana and A$AP Rocky announced at the Met Gala 2025 that they are expecting their 3rd child.She arrived at the Met Gala carpet with a bolero jacket , structured bodice and maxiskirt which showed her baby bump.
